HowZone Incororated - Negotiated and closed transaction selling patent assignment in 2006 with very favorable terms.

Implement.com - Technical writing for Microsoft User Assistance 2003-2004, 2006. Repeatedly recognized for rapidly grasping complex products (including MSFT Consulting Projects, Hosted Exchange) meeting deadlines and delivering a quality product in a fast-paced environment.

Transoceanic Sailing Sabbatical - Successfully achieved life goal in 2004-2005 of skippering an offshore boat on a long distance cruise. Sailed a 10,000 mile loop from Seattle, down west coast of USA into Mexico, across the Pacific to Hawaii then to British Columbia before returning home in 2005.

BCH Investments - Participated in the restart and subsequent sale of a venture backed software company in 2002. Helped develop whole product vision, developed and implemented service business, provided input on feature-set based on market needs and competitive landscape. RavenFire, Inc. - Created and executed website design for consulting company in 2002. Worked with partners to refine vision and articulate that in a high-quality design.

HowZone Incorporated - Founded the company in 1999, assembled advisory board and launch team, defined and refined scalable business model, designed and built innovative CRM content aggregation/distribution platform using an ASP model, filed non-provisional patent application, successfully prosecuted patent application and received broad US patent (#6,769,010) in 2004, raised capital, forged strategic relationships, initiated business development, closed first customer.

Microsurfer - Worked with founder in 2001 to refine business strategy, position the product and write marketing materials in preparation for version 2.0 launch.

SmartContractor, Inc. - Worked with founders in 1999 to interpret product/service vision and created a prototype website used to raise additional capital, communicate company vision and initiate product development.

2WAY, Inc. - Worked with founders and marketing team in 1999 to develop product demonstrations, marketing materials and help define hosted service vision.

Kiket, Inc. - Founded the company in 1996, raised capital, assembled advisory board and launch team, created pioneering online learning centers, forged strategic relationships, iterated the business model. Recognition for innovation in online learning in the corporate environment.

Binary Graphics, Inc. - Founded the company in 1987, consulted nationally on publishing workflow and electronic prepress profitability, provided high-end training to graphics professionals, created pioneering electronic prepress estimation system, wrote leading desktop file preparation guidebook. Developed and marketed electronic desktop file preparation guidelines as a self-service ASP product in 2003. National recognition for innovative production techniques which increased profits and productivity.

MicroAmerica - District Sales Representative in 1986 for leading microcomputer distribution company. Responsible for territory development in the northwest and for sales of MS-DOS, Unix and Windows hardware, software and peripherals to VAR's and retail establishments. National recognition for sales and territory growth. Resigned to found Binary Graphics.
